A catalog that tracks versions of trained models and their metadata.
A model registry is a catalog of trained models with their versions, metadata, evaluation results and stage, for example 'staging' or 'production'. It records which data and code produced each model. Teams promote or roll back versions through it.
It gives traceability and safe rollbacks for models in production.
