Finding and locating objects within an image.
Object detection finds each object in an image and draws a box around it with a label and a confidence score. One picture can contain many objects of different kinds.
Models such as YOLO and detection transformers do this in real time.
It is used in autonomous driving, security cameras, retail and robotics.
